The Photographer

Hi, I’m Josh Hoffman — a photographer based in Wamego, Kansas, capturing everything from intricate macro shots of bugs and flowers to sweeping landscapes of the Flint Hills. While I occasionally explore portrait work, my focus is on creating images with a distinct mood and clear intention.

My passion for photography began when I received my first camera as a birthday gift from my mother, and it’s grown into a lifelong pursuit. Today, I work with a Sony a6400 and an 18-70mm lens, keeping my setup simple to stay present in the moment.

Inspired by photographers like James Popsys and Florian Hasubick, my goal is to continually refine my craft and create images that invite viewers to pause, connect, and appreciate the beauty in both grand scenes and overlooked details.
